My Story
Growing up in Napa, CA I was filled with so much energy as a child (maybe too much energy if you ask Dad). I channeled so much of that energy into sports which is what led to my love of body movement.
After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Business from U of O, I pursued my passion for movement by acquiring an applied skill degree in Human Physiology / Exercise Science through a program between Lane Community College and U of O.
The following 8 years I honed my craft at physical therapy (PT) and chiropractic clinics while exploring other forms of training including Olympic lifting, Powerlifting and Crossfit.

The Start of Something New
TWM Strength & Movement was born out of the problem I saw at PT clinics where patients came in, not because of traumatic injury, but, because of years of poor bio mechanic movement. I realized that people did not understand how their lack of strength & conditioning contributed to a poor quality of life.
There is a rampant belief that, as it gets more difficult to move our bodies, we should move less. I want to dispel this belief.

The Mission
To expand people’s beliefs about their physical abilities by challenging the notion that a decline in quality of life is inevitable as you age. I am committed to empowering others to stay strong, active, and capable of doing what they love at any age.
